The Omega-Score^TM is a diagnostic test that analyses the fatty acid composition of your blood to determine your risk of developing Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) or dying from cardiovascular related event. This is determined by comparing the levels of long-chained polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids (Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA)) in your blood to four established cut-offs for blood levels of long-chained omega-3 fatty acids in published peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Is the Omega-Score^TM reimbursable by a healthcare plan?

• The Omega-Score^TM test is reimbursable for German residents if the test is performed by a medical doctor and the resident has private insurance coverage.

How Long Does it Take to get my Kit and Results?

• Your kit will arrive at your residence in 2-4 business days from placing your order, depending on your country of residence.
• Your results will be provided in electronic format within 7 days of receiving your sample.
