Omega Score™
The Omega Score™ test is an essential fatty acid test that measures the amount of long-chain
omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, specifically eicosapenaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic
aid (DHA), present in the blood. Specific blood levels of EPA and DHA have been associated with
a reduced risk of sudden death from cardiovascular disease. The Omega Score™ test is available globally.

PLAC® test
 |
The PLAC® test quantifies the amount of Lp-PLA2, an enzyme involved in the formation of rupture-prone
arterial plaque, in the blood. Patients with high blood levels of this enzyme have a higher risk of
suffering a heart attack or stroke.
|
-
ASA Effect™ test
 |
The ASA Effect™ test is used to identify patients who are resistant to the cardiovascular benefits of
daily low-dose acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) consumption. This simple urine test measures the inhibitory
effect of ASA on thromboxane, a proinflammatory eicosanoid implicated in the development of
cardiovascular disease

CardioMPO™ test
The CardioMPO™ test quantifies the amount of myeloperoxidase (MPO), a proinflammatory enzyme involved
in the development of rupture-prone arterial plaque, in the blood. Patients with high levels of this
enzyme have a higher risk of suffering a heart attack.
Prenatal Health Tests
-
The DHA Score™ is a test that measures the amount of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), an omega-3 fatty acid
required for cognitive and retinal development, in the breast milk. The DHA Score™ is used by
breastfeeding women to confirm whether their DHA levels are adequate and to ensure they are providing
their infant with optimal nutrition for brain function and eye health.
